            Are you interested in learning about ways to become energy
efficient on the home front?  Groton Local's Energy Group and the
Nashua River Watershed Association (NRWA) invite the public to join us
for a free panel discussion, "Home Energy Audits" on Wednesday,
Feb 9th, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the NRWA River Resource Center
at 592 Main Street (Rt. 119), in Groton.

What is a residential energy audit, and what does it cover?  Can I
perform one myself?  Should I hire a professional, and what might that
cost?  Given that the price of heating fuel has fallen from record
highs this summer, is it worth the effort or expense?  To help answer
these and related questions, a panel of experts in the field will give
a general overview of the different kinds of audits followed by their
individual takes on the matter, with ample time for audience
questions. Included on our panel are: Mike Duclos of Energy Efficiency
Associates; Tammi Lemire of Groton Electric; and Jim Hubert of Groton
Local.

program is free and open to the public, co-sponsored by Groton Local
