Would you like your home to be more energy efficient?  Have you ever wondered about using solar energy for heat and/or hot water?  The Nashua River Watershed Association (NRWA) and Groton Local's Energy Group invite the public to join us for a free seminar on "Solar Heating & Solar Hot Water", on Wednesday, April 1st at 7:00 PM, at the NRWA River Resource Center, 592 Main Street (Rt. 119) in Groton, MA. The seminar will cover all the important considerations when deciding if your house is a good candidate for solar heating or solar hot water. Do I have enough sunshine? What size collector should I get? What are the expected costs and savings? What is the right type of system for my house? Groton Resident Michael Woods of  CommAve, LLC will be on hand to share his knowledge from 4 years of solar engineering, experimentation and project management for solar heating and hot water systems. There will be ample time for audience questions.

This seminar is free and open to the public; co-sponsored by NRWA and Groton Local’s Energy Group. Registration is requested. To register, please contact Mark Archambault, NRWA Smart Growth Circuit Rider, at (978) 448-0299, or email Mark Archambault.
